KIDS YOGA

Kids yoga is very different than the serious, quiet yoga class you might experience as an adult. Instead, students are encouraged to move and to be creative while guided by the instructor.

Yoga with kids is all about sharing poses and meditation through music, games and other mindful activities. This helps students to relax, focus and exercise, all while having fun!  

Private In-Home Sessions Include:

INSTRUCTIONS:

  • Create a zoom account (it's free!) You can access zoom through your web browser or mobile device.  It is recommended to create a name similar to your child's so I can know their name.
  • Once you've enrolled, a link will be emailed to you (make sure to check your spam if you haven't received it within 5 minutes).
  • Join the provided link 5 minutes prior to the start time so that you are are ready to begin when class starts!

KINDLY NOTE:

  • By participating in virtual sessions you are accepting full responsibility for the health and wellness of you and your family.

  • Recording of online classes or sharing the link is prohibited; please share with friends to register.

  • Please register at least 30 min before class. The class may be closed if you try to register too close to the start time.

Sessions are centered around the student's unique interests and abilities. Sessions have a structure and are adjusted to the student's needs at the time of the class. 

Connections take time and private sessions are a wonderful way to create that special, meaningful relationship. Overtime, we are proud to witness the progress and evolution of our "kids."

Patience &
Understanding

An important part of yoga is being kind to ourselves, others, the world and our things. 

All sessions include set-up and clean up of the mat and props. Every instructor brings a sense of patience & compassion to the class. We understand that the student may have more challenging days and adjust the session to meet the needs of the individual.

Movement, Breathwork
& Meditation

Yoga poses, movement, breath-work and meditation/mindful activities are an integral part of sessions. These help the student to calm their mind/body and teaches them tools to self-regulate in their daily life.

They also improve mobility/flexibility, increase focus and support an overall sense of confidence.

Props,
Games & Music

Sessions include props to assist in exercises and create an accessible environment. 

Music (if applicable) and games also allow for practice in listening, tons of fun and lots of silliness. Laughter is another great release and way to connect.
