
KIDS YOGA
Kids yoga is very different than the serious, quiet yoga class you might experience as an adult. Instead, students are encouraged to move and to be creative while guided by the instructor.
Yoga with kids is all about sharing poses and meditation through music, games and other mindful activities. This helps students to relax, focus and exercise, all while having fun!
This program is open to ALL ages & abilities.

Curriculum & Progress
Sessions are centered around the student's unique interests and abilities. Sessions have a structure and are adjusted to the student's needs at the time of the class.
Connections take time and private sessions are a wonderful way to create that special, meaningful relationship. Overtime, we are proud to witness the progress and evolution of our "kids."

Patience &
Understanding
An important part of yoga is being kind to ourselves, others, the world and our things.
All sessions include time to set-up and clean up the mat and props in a mindful way. Every instructor brings a sense of patience & compassion to the class. We understand that the student may have more challenging days and adjust the session to meet the needs of the individual.

Movement, Breathwork
& Meditation
Yoga poses, movement, breath-work and meditation/mindful activities are an integral part of sessions. These help the student to calm their mind/body and teaches them tools to self-regulate in their daily life.
They also improve mobility/flexibility, increase focus and support an overall sense of confidence.

Props,
Games & Music
Sessions include props to support the student in exercises/activities.
Music (if applicable) and games also allow for practice in listening, tons of fun and lots of silliness. Laughter is another great release and way to connect.

Focus & Sound Exploration
Students engage in hands-on play and breathing practices with calming instruments and props, allowing for personal expression, creativity, and an opportunity to learn more self-soothing techniques.

Guided Sound Journeys
Students experience short sound meditations designed to cultivate a peaceful atmosphere, while promoting relaxation and mindfulness.

Every session ends with a sensory savasana--included with props to enhance body awareness, reduce anxiety and encourage deep rest.
