We tend to settle for less when we’re not in a good place. When we’re not coming from love and taking care of ourselves (mentally, physically & spiritually) it’s easy to spiral and make quick fixes to whatever is going on.
This leaves us feeling empty, unfulfilled and searching/wanting more.
What does that look like?
😳You’re always tired (putting everything before you is exhausting).
😳You complain about your job (A LOT)
😳You live in the past (I wish I had done this....If I hadn’t done that…)
😳You think more than you do (Someday I’ll…)
😳You justify your lack of luster because you see other people not living their fullest life (no one else seems happy…so this must be normal).
😳You blame other people
😳You live with a knot in your stomach
😳You have a long list of excuses for not taking care of yourself

But how do you have enough faith to take such bold actions?
Learn to listen to your body and show the universe you’re serious in your intentions.
What does that mean? For me, I focus on these areas of my mind & body:

💟Awareness & Action
1. Energy Check: How are you feeling in this moment? Do you feel drained or depleted? Do you feel light or heavy? This is the starting point of your road map. From here you have to ask yourself, “Am I REALLY respecting my mind and body?” Often times we and our world demand so much of ourselves that we forget to honor the very thing that allows us to function and live every single day. 2. Respect Your Mind & Body: Self-Talk: Is your inner voice kind or brutal? Food: Are you fueling your body and giving it the love & attention it deserves? Mind: Are you giving your mind a break? Are you constantly filling it with garbage on the internet? Do you take time to learn and grow? Are you getting enough sleep? Pleasure: Are you ...
I’ve been going through some stuff, this year I have experienced loss & chapters ending in different ways….big and small….through work, my grandmother passing and relationships (romantic and friendly). Some of it was by choice; some was beyond my control, some just naturally ended/drifted. No matter the details they have all resulted in empty pockets in my life. Some holes are tiny, barely noticeable, while others are craters…completely shaking my world. If you’re going through something or experiencing some type of loss, please remember:
❤️ It’s ok NOT be ok. It’s ok to feel sad, mad or frustrated and it’s normal for those feelings to come in waves. Don’t fight it, it’s your life and you can cry if you want to!
❤️ Don’t feel guilty for feeling any certain way and don’t compare yourself to others. Your story is YOUR story.
❤️ There’s ALWAYS a lesson, even if you don’t see it now…it will come.
❤️ Honor and appreciate the person or experience for being part of your journey.🙏🏼

Small steps will flip the script. Trying to change old patterns & adopting healthier ones can be overwhelming. When you are fed up you are fueled to make moves & take on a BIG adjustment.
🤨 You don’t move at all or eat right & then add a daily 75min workout & juicing.
🤨 You never stop, grab phone when you wake, spiral through & then try to meditate 90 min every day at sunrise.
These are GREAT goals but going from 0-100 in a short time will most likely lead to: ▪️Burn out:doing too much too fast and giving up
▪️Guilt:unrealistic goals make you feel bad when you don’t meet them
▪️Victim Mentality:You’ve tried, nothing works & you feel more stuck than before ▪️Unaligned:extremes don’t last, even if laser focused on that thing you’re most likely neglecting other areas of your life, shifting the issue.
